KNX is the worldwide open standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3) for home and building control. Because every certified device speaks the same language, an installation can mix manufacturers freely and still behave as one system — lighting, blinds, HVAC, metering, access and audio on a single bus.

Gateways are where KNX meets the rest of the building. IP routers and interfaces carry bus traffic over the structured cabling network for fast ETS programming and remote diagnostics; DALI gateways bring addressable luminaires and emergency-light testing onto the same system; BACnet and Modbus gateways expose lighting and blinds to the BMS or take chiller and metering data in.

Getting this layer right is what keeps a project maintainable. Correct line topology, filter tables and KNX Secure configuration prevent broadcast storms and unauthorised access, and remote access lets our engineers diagnose a fault before a truck is dispatched — which matters for facilities contracts across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
